Privacy and cookie notice
Plain English, because a notice nobody can read protects nobody. This covers what this website collects, why, how long we keep it, and how to change your mind.
Who is responsible
Fleming Studios, Tbilisi, Georgia, is the data controller for this website. Registered address: to be added. For anything in this notice, including a request to see or delete your data, write to hello@flemingstudios.eu and we will answer within 30 days.
What we collect, and why
When you book a free review or send the contact form
We collect what you type: your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone or WhatsApp number, website, what is not working, and your current advertising spend if you choose to say. We also record which page you submitted from and, if you arrived from one of our adverts, the campaign parameters in the link.
We use it for one thing: to reply to you and prepare for the review. The legal basis is your request, which is a step towards a contract. We keep enquiries for two years so we can pick up a conversation that goes quiet, then delete them.
When you sign up for the email list
We collect your first name, your email address and the date you signed up, on the basis of your consent. Every email has a one click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. We do not sell or share the list with anyone.
When you use the assistant in the corner
What you type is sent to our server so it can answer you. It is used to produce the answer and to understand which questions people ask, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a useful website. Do not put confidential information in it. If you want to tell us something sensitive, use the form or email us and we will sign an NDA.
Server logs
Our host records standard request information, including IP address, browser and the page requested. This is needed to serve the site and to spot abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest in security. These logs are short lived and are not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies and similar technology
Nothing that measures or advertises runs until you allow it. When you first arrive, everything except the strictly necessary category is switched off, and the banner asks you to choose. Rejecting is one click and the site works exactly the same.
Serves the page, keeps it secure, and remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. Fleming Studios, stored in your browser only.
Counts visits and shows which pages people read and which they leave, so we can improve the site. Your IP address is shortened. Google Analytics 4, provided by Google.
Measures which of our adverts lead to an enquiry, and avoids showing you the same advert over and over. Google Ads, provided by Google. Meta pixel, provided by Meta.
To change your mind at any time, use Cookie settings, also in the footer of every page. Your choice is remembered for twelve months, after which we ask again.
Who else sees your data
Only the suppliers we need to run the studio: our web host, our email provider, our email marketing provider for the list, and the analytics and advertising providers named above once you allow them. Each of them acts on our instructions. Google and Meta may process data outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, for the United States, the EU to US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data, and we never will.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.
Email hello@flemingstudios.eu and we will handle it. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Belgium that is the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, in the UK the ICO.
Children
This site sells business services and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this notice
If we add a tool that collects data, we update this page and ask for your cookie choice again. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
